My dad was an interesting guy. He always used to say that I remember a time when you could go into a grocery store and get a pound of cheese, a loaf a bread, a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs and a tastycake, give the person behind the counter a dollar and ge change. I would always reply to him. Yeah dad, that was in 1945 when people made 3,000 dollars a year.
Can these two questions be turned into direct variation problems.
